Privacy Policy
Last updated September 25, 2026
Pic2Bricks turns your photos into brick-building designs. We collect as little as we can to do that, we don't sell your data, and we don't show ads. This policy explains exactly what happens to your information.
The short version
- No account, no name, no email address needed to use the app.
- Your photo is used only to create your design, and is not kept afterwards.
- Your builds and photos are saved on your phone, not on our servers.
- No advertising, no tracking across other apps or websites, and no selling of data.
Photos you choose
When you tap Make it, the photo you picked is sent over an encrypted connection to our service, which is hosted by Harbor (harbor.it.com). To create the design, the photo is passed to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes it under its commercial terms and does not use it to train its models.
We do not store your photo. The finished design (the list of bricks and instructions, which contains no image) is held on our service for up to 24 hours so your phone can collect it, then deleted. The app only ever uses the photos you choose. It never scans your photo library.
Please don't submit photos of other people without their permission. The app is designed to decline photos showing a person's face.
What's stored on your phone
Your builds, a small copy of the photo each came from, and how many builds you have left are stored on your device. We can't see them. Deleting a build in the app, or deleting the app, removes them.
Technical information
To stop abuse and keep costs fair, the app uses a random, anonymous identifier created for Pic2Bricks. It is used to limit how many designs can be requested in a short time and to keep a record of how many designs were made and how long they took. It is not linked to your name, your Apple ID, or other apps. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (such as the time of a request and a shortened network address) for security, for a limited period.
Purchases
Build packs are bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles payment, and we never see your card details or Apple ID. We receive only a confirmation that a purchase happened so we can add builds to your app.
Links to other services
If you choose to order bricks, the app copies your parts list and opens BrickLink in your browser. Anything you do on BrickLink is covered by BrickLink's own privacy policy.
Who we share data with
Only the service providers needed to run the app, and only for that purpose:
- Harbor, which hosts our service and this website.
- Anthropic, which provides the AI that designs your build.
- Apple, for App Store purchases.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
Pic2Bricks is fun for all ages, but it is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. Younger builders should use the app with a parent or guardian. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your choices and rights
Because we don't keep your photos or create accounts, there is usually nothing on our side tied to you. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information. Email us and we will help.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will also be shown in the app.
